We are not in Kansas anymore Toto!

I am very excited about the movies being filmed here. Means jobs and putting Grand Rapids on the map! Mafia – Directed by Vito J. Giambalvo and staring Joe Mantegna and Grand Torino – Directed by Clint Eastwood are coming to Grand Rapids. I am a fan of these men, and hope I get to catch a glimpse of them while they are here!

I hope they enjoy their stay here and really get a chance to check us out between filming. We may be a small town compared what they are used to, but we have big idea’s and I think they will like the old town service and friendliness of the community!

We also have some great local talent, so I hope some local actors get a shot at some of the parts in the film.

This is very exciting for all concerned………….so welcome crew and I look forward to seeing our town on the big screen!
