Wood TV, our local chanel 8 here in Grand Rapids reported mopeds sales/regerstration are up this year. acually they have been going up for about the last 3 years. While gas prices are on the rise, RV sales are down 70 percent and Mopeds are becoming not only popular but very cool!

I do not see me getting one anytime soon, as a Realtor, our car because our traveling office, however it does look like fun!

Grand Rapids has a Scooter club. They meet every Thursday at the Kava house in Eastown and ride together. I have seen them downtown Grand Rapids.........there was about a group of 10 people riding at that time.

The weather is good for this kind of transportation right now, however it could get very cold in the winter! but the savings could be worth it for sure!
